    It's been awhile....

Well, it has been a long time since I last visited. I first joined here back in Feb 2007 when I had a 2004 KJ Renegade and had it pumped full of steroids. I was one of Rock Lizards first beta and sometimes alpha tester for his fabrications. Sliders, Front and rear bumpers, etc... Its been almost...

    Crossover and tweet mounting

That little dash cover strip is easy to work with/remove. You have to take the "Pillar panel with the Oh Crap handles" off first though. Wires go straight on through. Very easy.

KJ 04 or 05 wiring diagrams or service manual

From experience, the wire colors vary from KJ to KJ. At least for the sound system it does.

Who runs what type of aftermarket 6.5"

I have Polk component system. The sound is fantastic but lacks really good bass thanks to the HU Kenwood KDC-X492 I installed. I need to get one of those Kenwood powered subwoofers that will fit under the seat.

    Stereo Install questions (Bennett?)

A great spot for the crossover for the passenger side is that little panel facing the door. It is a vertical panel that is supposed to have a fuse box there. Mine didn't so I did some dremeling of the plastic and used industrial strength velcro to attach it to the panel itself. Now getting...

    Renegade Light Bars

The light bar is great. I keep my covers on so the lens doesn't get scratched up and is always clean (ready for use at full brightness). Rarely need them but they are very handy when they are needed.

    Hard Waterspots on PAINT?

A bar of Clay. It may have certain compounds in it that might vary it from basic clay, but it is clay. Mine came with a spray to help the clay move smoothly across the paint. It works great! I had such a roughness when I rubbed my hand over the paint after I had handwashed really good. I used...
