Useless information for most of you but it puzzled me! The jeep has a fuel cooler, not unusual on diesels.... but it's underneath near the back axle! Why the hell they didn't put it in with the othe heat exchangers is one of life's mysteries.

Just been looking changeing the ATF and gearbox filters on my new Jeep, I haven't picked it up yet so I can't check but the parts shop has it listed with 2 filters, a flat intake filter and a metal canister pressure filter, however looking on YouTube there is only one filter, do US Jeeps and...

Just out of interest as I now have an auto, anyone know if the later JK 2.8 CRD torque converter fits the old KJ 2.8? Looks like the same gearbox and a development of the same engine.... upgraded torque converters are unavailable here as far as I can see and importing from the US will cost more...

Don't suppose anyone has the dimensions for the timing pins for a CRD? Mine is due a belt, I can borrow a universal set but I'd like to check and see what will fit and what I need to make.

Anyone know what the maximum boost pressure on a 2.5 CRD is? When I get home and put mine back together I'd like to see if my turbo waste gate is still set right. I've seen 20 psi quoted for the 2.8.

Thought I'd bore you all with the job I was setting up for before my diff decided to play up. I knew the sills were getting bad but I was hoping to leave them till next summer, no such luck. Got a pile of scrap out!

Hi, I've got an export 2.5 crd, a few days ago a horrible howling noise started coming from the rear at 50 to 60 mph, only under power, goes silent if I take my foot off. I think it's the pinion bearing, diff is 4.10 with Traklock. Anyone else had this before I start ripping it to bits?
