Thats awesome. I hope I have the same situation. The first sympton was the slipping in the turns. It would make sense that it is low and the turns causing it to slosh to one side. I will fill it up and see. Thanks!- dewski

I don’t know if I can stomach spending $3-4k on a car worth $500 bucks. I think I’d rather try and just get rid of it if it came to that.- dewski

Torque Converter or whole transmission?
I havent verified but I believe the 45RFE. Is there any danger of over filling the transmission fluid? I put in a container of lucas stop slip and its definately improved. Wondering if I can put in a little more?- dewski

I took it to a shop and he said he really discouraged cracking it open. He said that if its really doing what I told him its doing, when they do a fluid change, it usually needs to be pushed out of the bay because they never run again. The guy didn't want to take my money so I suppose I should...- dewski

I am thinking about whether I should try and replace the torque converter in my tranmission or just sell the car as is. Mechanic says its going to need a whole new transmission just based on the symptoms. He didn't drive it. I am leaning towards just the torque converter. Transmission...- dewski

I just bought it a few weeks ago. I just didn't know if this was by design. The part of the seal that is not making contact is the smaller, hollow part in the corners.- dewski

I have a 2002 KJ limited and periodically I get some fumes in the car that kinda smell like exhaust. I've been looking for exhaust leaks but have found no signs of them. I was replacing my glass struts for the rear hatch and found that the glass doesn't completely seal off in the corners. Does...- dewski
