Possibly if you can fit a c-clamp around the ends and slowly add pressure to it may be enough to squeeze it back. Also it may be a pain but if you can remove your mount it may be easier to adjust off the car in a vise.
I think I am going to go with the loaded springs and struts from rough country on the front but for the back as I do respect your experience on this matter I may do the OME 1.5" springs for the rear with Rough country struts instead of any spacers.
I can understand the want to steer clear of a spacer lift on the front but why the back? If i combine the spacer with an extended shock doesn't it change the suspension geometry in essentially the same way?
I have been doing some digging as one does when they are considering lifting their Jeep. I do not want to go the cheap spacer route as I understand the damage it does to the related components, and I am also not wanting to break the bank on OME and Bilstein equipment as I couldn't justify the...

I have a 2006 Liberty 3.7L, 187,000 miles. I have recently had both cats replaced at a muffler shop. First cat was replaced a little while ago due to rattling noise and it was found to be completely broken inside of housing. A little while later I got a p0420 and since the other cat had crapped...
