Not sure if your problem is actuator motor related, but if it is and you need to replace the unit I just did it to mine, and it was a breeze to do. I got the actuator off Amazon, and it dropped right in and is working fine now. The symptoms of my issue were the window went down then it wouldn't...
I took Mudd's suggestion last fall and am very happy with them. For such an aggressive tire they're super quiet and seem to be wearing perfect. Holding balance is another plus. I don't think you can go wrong with these. Oh, and they're very competitively priced, too. I think I paid about $150...
Just a thought. You can pick up a brand-new unheated mirror housing for under $25.00 each side.
Google "jeep liberty side mirror" and a page of places to buy them come up. I replaced my non-heated mirrors with heated mirrors for a couple of bucks more than that. The wiring is there, just not...
I went through three "NEW" tensioners before I found one that worked. Bring it back and exchange it for another one until you find a good one. They are super easy to change.
Agreed. 66 and still riding a Harley and I squeal the tires on my Vette. When I can't get out of bed, then I'm a senior. If you move fast enough, it won't catch up.
Yes everything in the front end is new. I actually replaced the entire front drive shaft/CV joint setup. Oh, and it's an auto trans. Only bearings left to change are the rear axle bearings, carrier bearing and output shaft bearing, I think.
Oh and I replaced using new factory coils and shocks...
Had the tires put on this morning. Still has the vibration starting at around 40mph and goes up to 50 mph. When they had the tires off the ground I rotated the rear wheels and it felt a little gritty, but it could have been the parking brake shoes. My mind can play tricks on me sometimes. I...
Having these General Grabber A/TX installed Saturday. I had all wheels balanced which took a lot of the vibration out, but I still have some remaining. My tire guy showed me some out of round in two of the old tires and related it to what I'm feeling. He told me to wait until spring and put new...
Oh, and I tightened up all the bolts on the front sway bars and changed the 2 rubber mounts on the crossmember. They were making a groaning sound when I turned the wheels sharp. Now no more noise.
I still have a slight vibration in the steering wheel above 35 mph. I think it's the 6 year old...
Not a bad idea. When I flushed mine I was lucky I pulled out as much fluid as I could from the reservoir. There were bits and pieces of unidentifiable stuff coming out with the fluid. I kept refilling and sucking it out until no more bits came out. Had I just pulled a bleed on the lines I surely...
Oh well, I couldn't wait to start the project. It was a nice sunny day so I shot the back half of the underneath with Fluid Film "BLACK". First time I used the black version. It has a nice look and makes everything look new and Purdy... Something about black makes it look rich. It goes on smooth...
I'll be using Fluid-Film "BLACK" on mine. I've used the regular tan version on my Dodge PU with great success. Once I do it I'll let you know how it comes out. I have some new parts to install on the front end so I'm wait until this work is complete so I can do the entire undercoat job once.
