None of my business but there is a difference between a work horse and a race horse, and I'm sorry but you don't have the race horse. Get you a camera or mustang. These guys know what they are talking about
Here is what I am going to do my brothers. I am going to experiment a little, I have bump stops I can't use in the way they were intended to be installed ,so I'm going to do it my way.
The first method will be to drill the stop with a small bit on both ends and if I can drill the holder also...
Just my opinion ,but if you want that kind of lift get the right parts to do the job. Mixing parts or adding parts only causes new math. Listen to the pros on this forum and you will 4 wheeling on th he weekend,, not in the shop. Just my opinion welcome kJ owner
I tried shovel to begin with because I Read the thread here. It didn't pop in the back. So I put back in first ,when front went on the back popped out.
I used dish washing liquid to slick them up. I moved tabs in a little thinking they might have been bent out. When I bought jeep it didn't have bump stops front or back, so I am trying to do it right.
I replaced bump stops. Right one went on easy, left one the top notches broke out when I pressed it up in the holder on my 2002 kj. Don't know if something is wrong with tabs or holder. Anyway ordered another one gonna try again.
