Just got a set a of JBA UCA’s. Instructions say to open up the pockets. How do you do that and is it that important to do it? I’ve seen lots of pictures with installed with what looks like standard pockets.

Is the ARB bumper easy enough to install? It’s the only after market bumper I can find but most shops I’ve called want to charge $700-$1000 for install. Thoughts?
