Either change the u-joints or find a shop to do it. Make sure the new ones have zerk fittings to be greased. Probably why the current ones are screaming - no lube.

Measure your fender height from center of axle to bottom of fender lip and post that. Recommendations to follow when that info provided.

Got my Rough Country seat covers installed in the JK.

I very carefully use a razor blade at an extremely shallow angle to clean any stuff off and wash with brakekleen. Use lint free rags.

Got a heat gun? It’ll soften the gaskets. Re: your cylinder conditions - I’d be a while lot more worried about #6! That’s a lot of gunk buildup. Like maybe a water leak from the head gasket into it.

Yup, I expect those non-reinforced welds to fold like white bread under flex stress.

I *may* have saved the Liberty battery! Stuck it on the Optimate charger before the long weekend and walked away. Went and checked it today and 12.6v! Hmm…. Load tested it by putting it back in and it’s started the Jeep three times today. /fingers crossed

Brakes worn? Could be the *swish* as the worn pads scrape the rotor.

What does is cost to ask Autozone about replacing it? That would be my first option. Personally not a fan of either Autozone or O’Reilly as to quality. Put an “O” battery in the Liberty two years ago. It has failed every winter since. They replaced it no charge last spring. Headed there...
