Well, I changes the Oil to the correct 5W30 and I drove the vehicle for 15 min. Approximately. I did not drive highways so its too early to tell if its fixed yet another issue came up!! The heater hose/tube started leaking coolant at one of the factory hydraulic pressure seals. This is...- piroco66

RPM’s are at about 700, milage is 140,000 and when I accelerate slightly it turns off. I would love to here possible solutions. For now am thinking that I may have use a couple of my other vehicles oil by mistake (10-w30). I’m going to drain the oil and make sure I add 5-w30 and test the...- piroco66

Ok, I installed the OEM Oil pressure switch and the oil pressure light still turns on at low RPM’s after a few minutes. I am out of answers right now. Anyone have any ideas? Reminder, the oil pump is new.- piroco66

I installed the OEM Oil pressure switch and I noticed a big difference between it and the aftermarket. I have not tested the vehicle yet. Will do so tomorrow. Hope it fixed the problem.- piroco66

Well, finally done with the cooling system work. OEM coolant (HOAT), OEM thermostat, OEM coolant reservoir and purged the bubbles out of the system. I just pressure tested the bottle an it does not hold pressure, coolant just starts Flowing into the overflow chamber. This test was done with The old thermostat. I am having my system flushed today instead of tomorrow and the OEM thermostat installed as well.- piroco66

Got it. I appreciate the link to the manual that was posted in this thread. I’m having my system flushed monday. I borrowed the pressure test tool from LAPS. Will test now and after the flush with the new thermostat. Can’t thank you guys enough, you are much appreciated.- piroco66

Water pump is new, radiator is new, heads were repaired, new gasket sets, new timing chain front cover seals, no mixing of coolant and oil (no gel like or creamy gunk)- piroco66
