Survey on AT tires being used

They're a very good tire. My boss had a set of them on his plow truck and they performed great. Wore evenly, not much road noise, got excellent traction and handled great. I'd recommend them.

Survey on AT tires being used

I had Road Ventures on my 06 and I thought they where great. Lots of snow and ice here in Canada and I never had a problem with them. I thought they handled good, wore evenly, got good traction and had minimal road noise. I'd buy another set.

    Automatic transmission and 4Low

Sto Stop, put it in neutral then put it into 4low. You can drive with it in 4low you don't need too be in a lower gear in the transmission. I ran low quite often in my 06 and that's how I did it always worked fine. If you're going down a really steep hill and you find having it in 4low isn't...

Survey on AT tires being used

My last Jeep had Kumho Road Ventures on it, they worked pretty good. But I prefer the Firestone Destination or Michelin Defender LTX.

    Hub bearing issues

If it only last 3-4 months you have another serious issue.

    Try a Mopar bearing.

    Strange issue

I didn't have any noises in my 06 till I changed the muffler and tail pipe now I get a rattle/vibration at certain rpm and speed. Mechanic said it was a default in the new muffler wasn't welded correctly, cheap Napa junk.

05 Jeep Liberty sport power issue

I agree, change the plugs. Try some Gumot fuel injector cleaner with the P.E.A, my 06 was a little doggy and it brought it around.

    Wheel well rot/rust

Not good, mine needs rockers front to rear and a touch up under the doors. But no where near as bad as that. Anything can be fixed of course but too be done right, it's going too be pricey. I'd offer 1800$.

    Oil in the air filter

No just add a bottle of it everytime you change your oil. 4 quarts of oil and a quart of Lucas, it's good stuff. A lot of people swear by it.

    Oil in the air filter

Like I said mine uses about a quart and a half between changes but I go 7000 on conventional oil. Try Lucas oil stabilizer, it helped mine a lot with oil consumption and any lifter noise or piston slap.

    Odd Noise After Brake Job

Well sad too say even quality parts can make noise, especially brake components. Try what I just and see if you can hear the same noise if you just pull ahead instead of backing up. I'd bet money it's a sticking caliper.

    Rough ride

I'm not arguing with you on what there called im going by part names. Well I guess since my jeep has 150,000 miles they would be pretty wore out wouldn't they? I'm sure they have been replaced at some point.

    Rough ride

Also I wouldn't nessicarly say my jeep rides horrible and Infact it's not real bad at all. I mean it's rough but not horrible for the roads we travel on, I will have to do front and rear sometime but just with Napa parts.

    Rough ride

I'm sure mine are pretty well wore out considering its a 06 with 240,000kms. But I do have a very good mechanic in my opinion and he's never suggested replacing them yet. I will most likely get around to replacing them sooner then later. I just looked it up on Napa it's called a strut modular...

    Odd Noise After Brake Job

I was going to say it sounds like a sticking caliper too me too. It only happens when you back up and then when you pull ahead it comes loose. I bet if you parked and could pull ahead you wouldn't hear no noise at all. You also have to realize if you use cheapy parts they can make noise.

    Oil in the air filter

My 06 uses a little oil too. I just use conventional 5w30 Castrol and a quart of Lucas oil stabilizer. It helped a lot with the consumption of oil since I bought it. It uses about a quart and a half between changes. It's got 240,000 kms

    Rough ride

Well, I just contribute that too it being a jeep but yes it rides quite rough. I probably should replace the shocks and struts at some point.

    Rough ride

There is nothing broke on my jeep. I just had the rear ups replaced, I'm sure the shocks and struts could be replaced.
