KBOnly, checking to see if you fixed the door ajar issue? You are the only one I have found to have the exact same problem as me. I have done all of the same as you except changing the BCM. I am purchasing a new scanner to help in the diagnosis and will let you know what I find.

T35 I agree with Mrlavalamp. When I replaced head gaskets on mine I used a T35 to remove the bolt. Be prepared for the top guide to break when you remove it. It is made with some plastic pieces, so when you break that bolt loose it shattered on me (left side).

All the head gasket sealant that was put in by the previous owner was acting like sand paper and just grinding these parts down. I found about 3 cups of these particles in the bottom of the radiator. Why some people do things like that are beyond me. :sawzall:
