I have seen a lot of No Bus discussion on this site but nothing that seems to help me figure this one out!
I have changed the catalytic converter and went thru several 02 sensors on bank 2 sensor 2. The light stays off for a while, but comes back on with the same code. I finally tried a Snap-on...
Everyone I have worked on have the ground strap from the head to the firewall and I always put them back the same way, no issues! The head bolts are steel...
Yes, I have a 3.7 Liberty but I did have a Dakota with the 4.7. Exact same motor minus 2 cylinders! The PCV hose system in for the engine air breathing system. It is not connected to the cooling system. I would put it up on ramps on get under there to see if you can find a leak.
It's easy, just pull it off! If it's hard and crusty, u may need to cut it. Take a razor and slit the old hose down the side. The new one will come in one piece but you will need to dig the broken half out of the oil fill housing.
It's just the PCV valve. It will fit a 3.7 Liberty of any 4.7 engine. Any auto shop should have it. You can also replace the hose with any of the same size...
It doesn't happen all the time and not even when it's hot outside. Daughter-in-law thinks it only happens when idling at a light or in a parking lot. I recently replaced head gaskets and it has a new thermostat and water pump. The fan comes on with the A/C so I know that it works. Any suggestions?

Just call around town! There should be machine shops and axle repair places. I took mine to them and they rebuilt it for me and it cost less than the price of a new one. If you have any kind of mechanical skills you can get both of the ends on Ebay for about $80. I have done this method as well...
I agree with Jeremy. I believe you can only program a certain number, I also think you can go into the skim and delete old ones. I hate to say it, but you may have to contact the dealer for this type of help unless you own a good snap on scanner!
