    Overheated now this!

I would agree with seafish. Coolant is probably getting into the system making your oil very creamy. Depending on your current mileage your in for a head gasket change. If the heads are cracked, they will need to be replaced as well. Do you have a local junkyard? That's where I got many of my...

    how to drain fuel

Go under the hood and disconnect the fuel line and attach a rubber hose to it that you can run to a gas can. Pull the fuel pump relay and you can jump 2 of the pins that will make the fuel pump come on. Make sure you hook up the hose to your can first! AND NO SMOKING! :o)

Passenger Side (right side) Axle doesn't seem to be in all the way

I have run into the same thing before. There are different size axles. To be sure check with the dealer and give them your VIN.

    Top end rebuild parts

Type this into eBay: 3.7 jeep liberty head gasket set timing chain kit. You will get a LOT of options and prices. I have used "Domestic Gaskets" and "Mizumo Auto" with good results as I have rebuilt several engines. Average cost is about $300. I have taken the heads to a machine shop to be...

    oil leak

Check the oil sending unit, it is located right above the oil filter. You can also check the oil fill/PCV assy. A long shot is a possible head gasket oil leak too. I have experienced all of these issue with the many Liberty's I have had. Good luck!

Don't let it even come close to overheating. Tons of fun to drive in the snow!

    Cooling fan issue

I also had to replace my fan on a family trip to Myrtle Beach in the middle of summer. The fan gave out and caused the radiator to leak. Unbelievably, a nearby Advance Auto had them both in stock and I replaced them in our VRBO rental driveway! I always carry a tool bag with me...

    Coolant leak

I have removed the carpet before and laid it out in my driveway, spray some simple green or laundry detergent and hit it with the power washer. I threw it up over my fence for a few days to let it dry out in the sun, both sides. It is a pain removing the seats and console but well worth it in...

    Coolant leak

What about taking it back to the shop and letting them do a warranty repair on their own work?

What causes oil leaks? I live in Korea

I have experienced the oil pressure sensor leaking, it is right behind and above the oil filter. Also the valve cover gaskets and grommets are notorious for drying out and cracking. Always start at the top when looking for oil leaks!

Odd wobble at highway speed only when accelerating

I also experienced this and it ended up being the short 4x4 shaft. I ordered a kit on Ebay and rebuilt it myself!

    Passenger Side Engine Valve(s) Alteration(s)

LOL, it's not an alteration, it's a dropped valve seat. The engine must have overheated at some point, causing the aluminum head to expand. This causes the valve seats to drop out. You will definitely need to pull the head and take to a machine shop.

    Timing Chain Tensioners etc ..

Cloyes and Melling are the best, but I have purchased the kit from Ebay when money was scarce! I have done several in this manner and haven't had any issues. Mitzumo Auto and others. Example...

Failed 3.7 Engine Disassembly (2003) - Interesting Finds

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. You can always get a junkyard engine and rebuild it. Be careful what year you get as the heads change a little bit. I have had luck finding Liberty's on Craigslist, Facebook, junkyards and even city or police auctions. Best of luck!

MLS vs Composite(Graphite) Gaskets and other backyard rebuild questions.

I have used both methods but like the graphite gaskets best. DO NOT USE COPPER COAT with graphite! I made that mistake too and had oil leaks from the heads. The copper coat does not mesh with the graphite. I also recommend having the heads worked at a machine shop just to be sure they are even...

Failed 3.7 Engine Disassembly (2003) - Interesting Finds

In my past experiences, the water usually leaks in when you pull the head anyway. Be sure to check the heads over very closely. I have seen little chunks come off the lifter casing or even the valve keepers when it drops a valve. Check the cylinder walls as well to ensure a chuck didn't bust off...

    Cooling fan issue

It's also possible the fan is bad? Have you tried direct power to it? Happened to me before on a trip as well.
