I picked up my Jeep from the mechanic last night! Super excited to have her back. The used tranny seems fine, shifts smooth and feels good. I got a rough kick down to first when coming to a stop, even stalled the engine once. Sounds like I need to do some relearning. Should I do a quick relearn...

Listened to my Friend/Mechanic complain about every bolt being cross threaded on the Tranny removal! He finally got it out and tapped the threads. guess he had to wield sockets on to a couple bolt to get them out! It took a little longer than expected but I imagine it'll go in a little easier...

I drug her to my mechanic to get the tranny replaced. Best MPG I've gotten so far! I should have her back on Saturday!

I recently bought a 2002 with Tranny issues. Took the pan off and found metal bits and pieces. Took off the solenoid pack and found pieces of clutch. So I found a used tranny with 91K on it, with a 6 Mo. replacement from a local salvage yard. Getting her installed this weekend!
