Didn't have my meter on hand ,plus Sears tested and gave me another battery,they told me it was beyond rechargeable,it was two years old . Never had a battery that had no sign of life ,when I get home I'll try to see if I did any thing to cause it to dye

got the new battery from sears,it was still under warranty ,put it in ,everything came up like normal,tested the new battery over 12 volts and tested the positive end and it was reading over zero and over twelve volts when key turned on
