I ended up just re-foaming the Infinity front door speaker with a re-foam kit I bought on Amazon. An easy fix and the speakers sound like new. kit was $24 and repaired both from speakers. Just an option to replacement.

    hitch recall

As part of the latest offer for this recall, Jeep will either install the factory hitch, inspect yours and say it's good, buy back your Liberty outright or give you a certain amount above the buy back price on a trade in towards a new vehicle. So buy back is an option. Whatever you choose you a...

    Radiator part number question

I have a 2006 3.7l 4x4 auto Limited that needs a new radiator. From threads here and from the 2006 part fiche, all say 05183562AA is the correct part number. My local dealer and a number of the online MOPAR parts search sites keep coming up with either 52080120AE (which I thought is for a...

HELP - My door wont open and the electric window is broken

I've seen on E-Bay where they are selling the plastic part that attached the window to the regulator for around $20. Seem like this is the part that fails most of the time.

    Front suspension clevis fork

True - but $20 is cheap peace of mind when you send your kid down the road in her first vehicle Mine are pretty corroded, previous owner drove in on the beach a lot so was subjected to a lot of salt water.

    Front suspension clevis fork

Thanks for the info ... I pulled two from a 2003 with minimal rust and good hardware (pinch bolts and bottom bolts). Only paid $9.99 each so seemed like good insurance. So no problem (other that the difference in the pinch bolt torque spec) with swapping these out with the ones on my 2006?

    Front suspension clevis fork

I had the same thought about wire brush/paint. Thought about some POR-15 for a fix.I just figured if I could get some spares cheap at the junk yard I could clean those up off the jeep then put them on when I swap out the spring/shocks

    Front suspension clevis fork

Are the 2003-2006 KJ front clevis forks the same? Working on a 2006 KJ I just picked up for my daughter. The clevis forks up front are fairly rusted and I want to swap them out. The "pull and pay" by me has a few 2003 & 2004 KJs that have good clevises in them and I wanted to be sure they...

Made the same repair to my our 06 liberty this past week end. I bought a roll of 1/4 inch wide sticky back foam weather striping at Lowes and replace the worn out factory foam seal. Also took out a ton of leaves and crap from around the screen and under the wiper motor.
