I have an 06, 4wd. Recently it has started making a bad bearing, grinding sound...coming from the console area. Got under it today to listen, sounds like the bell housing area. Does not seem to change with change of rpm, gear (auto) position, transfer case position. Sounds like a bad bearing...

I tow my '06 KJ behind my RV, so it has a Blueox tow bar base plate on it. Would the Matrix mount with the base plate, or could the tow bar be attached to the Matrix ?

My lighter socket is powered all of the time. Is there an easy way to change it to only power up when the key is turned on ?

Are all 242's the same ? I see on eBay 242's listed as Grand Cherokee, and military...will they interchange with the 241 in the liberty?

Just bought probably my last Jeep. Being 70+, didn't buy this one as a serious crawler, just a DD with frequent excursions down forest roads. Looked a long time to find this one, correct color (Dirt) for back roads, 4x4 automatic, '06 Sport, 67k miles and not a scratch....yet.
