    02 Liberty JBA lift

I have decided to offer my jeep for sale with the hopes that someone will appreciate it and fix it. It is a 2002 limited with the v6 .JBA silver 2.5" lift with custom wheels. Tires still have a lot of tread. Rust free and in amazing condition as it was from CA! The bad is the engine needs new...

Technically it still runs, but not on all cylinders! Been having head trouble and this isn't the first time it has happened! Been in this motor more than I care to admit! Lol. It has a now obsolete JBA Silver lift kit including adjustable front struts, A arms, and rear coils! This jeep is my...

Bad heating issue (sorry for another thread!)

Tis true! I tried every way to get to it, even trying through the radio hole, but it's a closed in pocket. The whole dash must be removed. Ain't like them old Fords where it's right there on the pas side. Water pump is mounted on the front cover. It's a handfull of bolts. Pretty easy to take...

    The dreaded "No Heat"

I'm thinking so. A bit more ground made. Found a ever so slight bleed on the thermo housing where the rad hose is. A very small seep from that hose. Another thing is, the sloshing noise under the dash has a relation to the heat output. Was testing some things and out of the blue got some ok, but...

    The dreaded "No Heat"

H'mm, Ok. Of course I am so tight on funds it ain't funny. Gonna have to save and hope for the best till I can get money to do the job. Will still check the things mentioned and see if it will work. EDIT Found it in the manual. Gonna have to get this fixed I guess. Aside from that, any other...

    The dreaded "No Heat"

It was. Made sure I got it right. A quick review in my factory shop manual, it says this, "(2) .Fill system using a 50/50 mixture of ethyleneglycol antifreeze and low mineral content water.Fill pressure bottle to service line.and install cap." It does no specify.

    The dreaded "No Heat"

Yes, the thermo has a little hole in it. I have no clue what the coolant is. me and my dad have used it in all our families cars, as well as the heavy machinery in my dads business. We mixed it our selves as 50/50. It's pink in color. I have no clue what HOAT is. it was my only driver and we...

    The dreaded "No Heat"

My Dad has worked on cars for years and things like checking a TS is old hat to him. When pulled, it was closed with a cold engine, so heat should be hot if it was the thermo. Made sure it was in the right way as I heard it was easy to get it wrong. Pretty sure my rad cap is good as the system...

    The dreaded "No Heat"

I have gone over all like some 5 times, both hot and cold. New info just discovered. May or may not be related. Recently, the check engine light has been coming on. My bro had a program and was able to get the code. Looked it up just now and its, Engine cold too long! Weird.

    The dreaded "No Heat"

Ok, I thought I could get by since I have heated seats, but at 16 deg. during the day, I can't deal with it much longer. When I bought the jeep used, I checked AC and heat and both worked flawless. SO I drove it for a little while when one day, the heat was lagging badly. By the time I had...

    Old Mopar Battery I'm Impressed!

We had a Philippine supervisor who was something else. He had this infamous red truck he had for years. One day we was done from work, we was standing around and he piped up and said in an disappointing tone that he had to go buy a new battery for his truck. He said the dumb thing ONLY lasted 10...

    Fording Depth??

Wow, at 2 pages already! Yes, since it's my DD, i washed it off in 32 F with blasting wind. I did check the breathers. The back one was tied to the axle tube! :emotions34: Front was stock. I don't do this rarely at all for obvious reasons. Just chose the wrong time to check out that section of...

    Fording Depth??

Been absent lately as I just moved not to long ago. Moving to the mountains has gave me some fun with the Libby. Appreciate all the advice. What I need now ASAP is the procedure from someone who has replaced both tensioners. Pics will help. Its looking like I'm gonna have to take all the sprockets off! ugh! I got the pas. valve cover off. What will be involved to do this? Should I just do the primary which...

    Uh oh!

Sorry for late reply. I don't get to my computer to Sundays. :emotions34: Yes it is the exact same noise as yours. Thankfully, I caught the problem when I pulled up to my dad's shop for the business he owns(and I work for) so He said to park it right inside.(stuffed between a backhoe and a...
