Still no luck can't find any wires burnt or anything wrong with the harness I'm going to put a external regulator on it so I can start driving it again .ill get back at it in about a week ill be away for work so hopefully with a fresh perspective and so more patience ill br able to figure it out

thanks for the input i'll go through the wiring under the hood tonight and see if i can figure anything out . the alternator is still putting out a continuous 18.5 volts and starts boiling the battery as soon as you start the jeep if put power to the asd fuse it trips the relay and you can start...
