    Thinking of buying a 02

When I'm looking for parts for my KJs, they're usually listed as fitting 02s to 07s.

    Thinking of buying a 02

No, No, No and No... No, No, No and No... that's way too much! I just bought a 2006 Sport, one-owner, great CarFax, in like-new condition for less than that, plus it has the Off Road Group, the Skid Plate Group, and the Trailer Tow Group. Put your Jeep's specs in the car pricing sites...

Hints For Putting the Spare Tire Cover On

There has to be an easier way to put the spare tire cover on. Once you start, it "sticks" to the tire so it can't be moved to get the logo level... so I'm wondering if there's something that can be sprayed on the tire or inside the cover to make the job easier. Someone suggested soapy water...

Isn't the key already cut for the original car on the used fobs?

    2006 KJ Key Fob

Can anyone recommend a specific online source for OEM key fobs. There's about a million or more on Amazon and other sites, but I'd like to find a good reliable source forum members have ordered from. Thanks!

GAS TANK Remedy 2005 Jeep Liberty

Cover For the Recall Hitch What's the dimension of the recall hitch installed by the Dealers? I want to buy a cover for my Grandson's KJ, but can't remember if it's 1-1/4" or 2". Thanks!

    2006 KJ Key Fob

I need 2 new key fobs for a 2006 KJ I just bought, but there's about 10,000 choices on Amazon. How do I make sure I'm getting the right one? And if not Amazon, where should I buy them?

Thanks to everyone who replied... I took the majority's advice and bought a 2006 KJ Sport... 104K miles but looks brand new inside and out, needs new tires, but I got a fair price so I can afford that expense.

I did look at CarMax... it appears their KJs are more expensive than the local prices.

Take It Easy On Me, Please!

I want to stay with the 1st Gen KJs... don't like the 2008s very much. Also, I'm not able to travel very far so I'm trying to locate Jeeps within about 50 miles of the Orlando area. I just started looking at the 2006 KJs too, which gives me more choices.

OK, I know you're going to think I'm nuts... but I'm giving my beloved 2003 Libby to my Grandson and am having a very difficult time finding a low-mileage 2007 Libby to replace it... so I'm thinking maybe I should take a look at the Patriot :( I know all the faults with the Patriot, CVT, 4-cyl...
