Wow, I haven't been on here in a while!, Still got the KJ and its going strong, getting ready to change water pump tomorrow as its leaking pretty bad. Haven't wheeled too much lately as we had our first son about 6 months ago.

Or you could use a right angle drill with normal bit. :gr_grin:

Happy to report that this seemed to fix the issue, light has not come back on yet!

Put an OEM thermostat in this morning so far no check engine light, we will see though as last time it took a couple days for it to come back on. I hope this fixes the whole issue as if it does not, I'm going to have to take it in somewhere to get a better diagnosis of what's going on.

Would one from Napa be alright? The brand of sensors they carry are Proformer, Echlin or Delphi. Or should I just go straight to the dealer? ** Edit ** Just read that OE brand is Delphi... is this correct?

Yes the Napa tstat was 195 degrees and looked identicle to the one I removed. Sensor brand is duralast as AutoZone was only local store who had it in stock at the time.

T stat is from Napa. I haven't read anything about the IAT sensor has that been known to cause this code as well?

I keep getting code P0128. First I checked coolant level and it was fine. Next, that weekend I drained coolant and replaced thermostat (Napa)(G-05 Coolant) reset and check engine light went away for about a week. Light comes back on about a week later so I replace the Coolant temp sensor and...

Do they normally not come with hardware or was it just forgot in the shipping process? Seems like if your dropping that much money on something that nice it should come with hardware. Looks good tho!!

Yea I picked some up at Napa this morning and put them on I herd good things about them, thanks for the feedback tho glad they work!

Changed out the coolant, replaced thermostat. Also had some corrosion starting to form on the battery so I cleaned both terminals up really good and put on some dielectric grease, see if that helps any.

Thanks for the reply! I feel a little better now. What about the coolant, can i buy the Zerex G-05 50/50 blend or should I get the full strength and dilute it myself with distilled water?

Had my first CEL pop up last night, its P0128 so my plan is to change coolant as that is on my list of things to do and change thermostat out, if still present I will change temp sensor, does this sound like a good game plan for the CEL? Also with the Zerex G-05 can I get the 50/50 mix or should...
