4 HI...however I solved the problem. Sometimes we should just read the owners manual. It was raining today so I decided to try it, and it shifted with no problem. Thanks for all the input. I owned a Jeep CJ-7 in 1985 and had forgotten how much fun a Jeep can be.- Kirby43

Newbe with a question
I've recently purchased a 2005 Jeep Liberty with command trac drive. I've tried to shift to 4 wheel drive while in motion. I find that it is very difficult. You must pull the lever extreamly hard and it does not engage 4 wheel drive. Shuld the lever be that hard to pull????- Kirby43
