Well, I will tell you that it is not the vac actuator. It is going to have to go to the dealer for them to figure it out.- kc0dws

Cruise Control Has a mind of its own
The cancel button works along with the resume button. I think what is happening is that the vac actuator is faulty and is stuck in one position. This would cause a runaway issue when going downhill and also explain why when set at any speed it will instantly go up to a speed not chosen.- kc0dws

I don't think that is a viable solution seeing as how the cruise will run away on its own and I have no control over it.- kc0dws

Alright, here's the deal. I have searched and now finally posting. Usually I find what I need by searching, but this time that is not the case. OK.....
