by chance did the liquid under the Jeep drip from the t-case? I've been noticing the same thing, I have a couple little splotches of reddish oil under my jeep every so often and when I looked under it seems to be coming out of everywhere!

I'm pretty sure his insurance will have to pay, he was cited for careless driving and in my town the cops don't assign fault for whatever reason, I walked away ticketless, so my insurance said that the ticket will show fault.

mine makes the same sound...I figure it's because it's cold and the oil is settled in the pan..I could be wrong about these things as I am not a mechanic
