Just finished a long trip from Craig, Co to Mesquite, Nv. Criag to Green River Ut got 25 MPH. From GR to Mesquite it was 23. Had to turn on the AC. Coming back was 23 and 24.5. Only mods are Gibson exhaust and KN cold air pack.

Don't understand this. Just took a trip from Craig to Grandjunction, Co and got 23.6 MPG. A 303 mile trip including going over minor passes. Mods are K&N and Gibson exhaust. Also with 57,000 miles I replace the plugs. They don't seem to last very long. When I took the old ones out they measured...

Thanks for the info on the Chip. I've been wondering how it performed. I've installed the K&N intake system and Gibson exhaust and have been tickled how well it performs. Fuel mileage increased up to 22 on my last two long trips. Sound is cool but not overbearing. I guess the chip is next.

It's even funnier, Super Chips is advertised, and they don't make one for the KJ.

So, when do you suppose Jeep will ever come up to date with a mass air flow controlled engine? I just changed my Ford to mass air and it was simple. Anyone out there here of a jeep change over?
