    265/70/16 is similar in size to 31x10.5, i believe tom may have read that as 265/75 which is a 32 and definitely kills power and mileage. they will fit fine with some trimming but may rub at lock on the sway bar with stock rims.

    the front axle in the KJ is already weak. putting in an auto locker is sure to spell trouble. some people have used them in the rear with success though and at least one with bad experiences.

    theyre also called "bras" from what ive seen they would be good if you haul your car behind an RV or something often where the paint would get really beat up. they can also damage your paint though. between road grit getting stuck between your vehicle and the bra and then driving speeds...

    your vehicle can still rock back and forth while in park, not far but far enough to fall off a jack. as said try and find a better place for the jack next time also.
