2002 Jeep Cherokee sport 2.4 petrol-Broken Cam-belt, how do I realign the Camshafts?
I want to be able to confirm the timing marks on the cam pulleys, so I will be taking the cam cover off to look at the Camshafts. From what I've seen on Youtube there is possibly 2 holes in the camshafts that must point up when the Crank pulley is aligned with the mark on the cover. I may be... -

Hi everyone! I have pulled the rest of my hair out and have nowhere else to go! please give this a look. It's a Jeep Cherokee Sport 2.4 Petrol manual 2002 and it's done 99,000 miles. (i've had it for about 14 years) It's always been a bit sluggish until about 2,000 revs where it 'smooths out'...- Graham C
