Yea when buying the jug of oil make sure its a 5 quart and not a 4 quart. My father made that mistake last year b/c they had a sale on mobile one (which is what we use) but he didnt realize it was 4 quart jug until after we changed the oil. Ended up costing him more b/c he had to buy that one...
I actually need to replace my plugs. This thread was a good reminder. I still got my Factory plugs on the KJ. 43K on them.
I'll be running to Advance Auto this weekend.
Other than check the wiring for damage and checking the gaping of the new plugs before installing. Is there anything I...
Mobile one filter is good. I used to them but Walmart stopped carrying them and they are over priced or not available everywhere else. The Mobile one filter is M1-209.
I remember the filter model b/c the filter number reminds me of the Robot ED-209 from Robocop. :icon_mrgreen:
Are using Adobe Reader to view the PDF?
If so, uninstall it and install Foxit Reader. It's free as well but works a lot better. When I click your link for the PDF file in Firefox it went to open it up in the browser but it wouldn't work and it gave me an option to save the file and open it in...
I've been running Synthetic since I got my KJ in 2006 and have no issues.
I run with Mobile One full Synthetic and a Purolator PL20195 Pure one filter.
Even switching to Synthetic now would be fine. My wife's 2002 KJ had a 120K when she bought it a few years back. I switched that to over to...
One of my rear windows did that two years ago. I ended up replacing the the entire Window motor assembly. The gears in the motor stripped out. i bought a refurbished one on ebay for $100. Do you here any clicking when pushing on the window switch?
Welcome to forum.
Try pushing on the Shifter the next time it does it. My Jeep used to not start up for my wife every now and then and it was because she wasn't pushing the shifter all the way up into park. Pushing it up far enough for that the transmission was in Park and was able to remove...
Anyone seeing this ad that is not familiar with Jeeps would believe it's a 4X4 soon as they see those words "Four-Wheel Drive; Rear-Wheel Drive" So this is how there stating it a 4x4.
Those pics are real for the most part...Jeep would never take an interior promo picture of one of there...
That caught me off guard too But the pics tell the tale. No 4x4 badge on the rear and no T-case Shifter.
...unless this KJ has an highly rare no user input AWD option lol
Asking way to much IMO . It's a 2wd not 4wd. That thing should be priced around 9 or 10K.
2WD do not hold there value compared to 4WD counter parts.
When my wife was looking a Compass last year, FWD models where going for nearly 1/2 the cost the AWD models.
EDIT
Did anyone notice the...
I have my back windows tinted and looking to have the front door windows tinted to match as well.
Plus you and I both know how Dark back country roads can get in PA. I got a lot of friends that live in the boondocks. 1/2 the time I do K turns on the roads out there b/c my friends even forget...
I have the in-channel AVS visors. The AVS brand has a good warranty on them too.
My rear driver door visor broke a few weeks ago. Looked like someone tried to pulled up on it and cracked it. I've had them on there for over 6 Years. I check the site and it said life time warranty on visors. I...
Whats funny about this for me is...
My friend and I where on our way to his place a few weeks back and a civic with a half ass body kit and coffee can exhaust pulls beside us. He was looking towards anyone for a race shooting in and out of lanes. So I signaled him for the challenge and You...
Well thats good the rear wiper isn't effecting the inspection. Like I said I'm shocked they actually checked lol.
Long before i got my Jeep. I took my old car to this one shop where you didn't even have to leave the car. The place didn't even have a lift. Just pull in, they check your lights...
Welcome to the forum.
Did the mechanic say it was needed to pass inspection? Hell, I'm actually shocked he checked the wipers. A typical inspection for me is a look at the brakes, tires and lights. Then a gas cap check.
