Nah, mostly gravel and something called tar and chip for the bulk of the country. Tarmac is used around cities but is more common in the southeast of the country, but mostly concrete in the urban areas their too. Concrete holds up slightly better than tarmac due to the temperature extremes...

If it makes you feel better the tax/title/ registration when I bought it was 3600$. My Liberty was 35$ for everything By comparison.
Similar. Our road tax and fees are set amounts, 45$total in Nebraska. The rest is sales tax, which you pay until the payments are done on the vehicle. The sales tax decreases a bit based on the age of the vehicle.
1 year ownership/field season over/students returning party:
Oil change. Diffs and Transmission serviced. New plugs and wipers. Electrical system tested. Found the short (FINALLY!)in the driver door harness that has been messing with my locks. Registration paid (500$).

Cat Cleaners are a scam. The claimed chemistry doesn't check out. As others have stated, the issue is in the engine fuel system...which may have damaged the cats.
Just as likely to get the same result from Techron or Sea Foam.
