Oh no! You have had some bad luck with that engine. You might have some luck with thicker oil.
When you do the rebuild check the valve gides for wear, if they are loose then stem seals won't help.
Another thought...
I have never worked on a V6 Jeep but I have changed stem seals without removing...
Yes, the fluid should act like a rod connecting the two pistons, as long as everything is full of fluid the volume of the hose should be irrelevant because the fluid doesn't compress so I'm puzzled why it doesn't work. I've recently installed a similar setup on a crane with an 25' long hose to...
The early one certainly doesn't have a level sensor, I'd be amazed if the later one does.
As I said earlier, I think you have a damaged wire or connector somewhere, check the transfer case motor loom and the wheel sensors.
I've got the front suspension of my parts jeep in bits, I'll measure the bolts and let you know if anything will fit, I'd guess the upper wishbone bolts are your best bet.
Now I'm a diesel man so no evap system here but I'm wondering if like my EGR system if this BS isn't best bypassed? I wonder what actually monitors it??
Old CRD springs will be dead, they were under rated for the weight of the diesel, mine had sagged so much it was almost on the bumpstops all the time at 140,000 miles. A new set would be good on a light V6 and you could grab the rear upper isolators from the yard to add to the rear end so it...
Bit of wear I'd guess low hydraulic pressure. I'm afraid it's going to need proper gear to diagnose it, I'd get it done soon before you wipe the clutches out, they don't like slipping.
Sorry I zipped through your original post and read OME not OME!
Just a thought, could you cut the perch off the Mopar struts and bolt / stich weld it to OME shocks?
I soaked my shocks perch's with lanolin before I put the rubber mount on when I saw how rusty the original struts were.
