I don't think it's the multifunction. Everything is fine when you "turn" that feature on but when the engine is off and the key is out the right side markers are on and the inside dome lights dim then go off and then back on.

You can see what can be bought on trade... I was amazed on what a stealership would do for free or no labor when they found out that I work on computers for a living.
Sounds like a trip to the stealership to ask some harmless questions are in order... They may just flash it to be nice, especially if they think they can get a torque converter out of you down the road.
But he can pull the bed and cut the frame... If it's a trail rig then the bed is going to be worthless in no time, best to just take it off and save yourself some trail damage...
