Finley finished my lift. It rides great and I love the way it looks. Refer to below for my setup.
One question. How to I make my front swaybar connections longer?
With this one, it started out as fixing the worn-out suspension. (So I do not get beat-up anymore.)
I wanted it to ride more like my Ranger……. It being on 35’s plus just well setup suspension does help.
I also hate being so low to the ground.
Thank you for your help!!!!
This is my first Liberty. It was my wife’s. But we got her a 2006 so the 03 is now my daily driver. :driver:
And now my ranger is just a toy wrc.gif
Well I am going to be installing the Tommudd's Econo 3.5" Lift Kit. But I think you know that. And I just want it to set close to level and in lieu of using the 0.375 clevis spacer,
I have the 0.500 spacer. So it should sit close.
The 4” rear spring are what have me concerned… I do not...
It looks like you are missing a part or you got the wrong struts and spring, I just do not know?
But I do know your front should not be 2” lower than the back. I was told by JBA when I ordered my lift. The standard Tommudd's Econo 3.5" lift kit, the back end will sit about a ½” higher than...
It will work if you replace the studs with longer ones or make extensions like the TeraFlex.
I was curious to know if someone knows what size studs they are.
I would like to add 2 of the JBA top plates to my lift. Does anyone know what size studs are in the strut mounting plate?
I know they will be short for what I would like to do.

The 2 things I would tell anyone who is going to do any type of work on their auto is take your time and torque everything to...
I have purchased the same lift still waiting on the struts and springs. The upper “A” arms require some modification to the mounting area. So whomever you have install it make certain they read the instructions.
$600.00 is not a bad price. But if you are at all mechanically inclined at all you...
I just received most of the parts for my JBA- Econo lift. Still waiting on struts and springs.
What size tires are you going with?
I was thinking of 285/75R16 or 265/75R16. I know with the 285, I will have to do some trimming.
I also plan on re-gear it to 4.88 or 4.56 with a Aussie Locker...
I ran the 35s on my truck for about month before re gearing. It did suck but it lived.
And I am running EBC breaks on it as well.
The libby will be no deferent, we are going with the 4.88 if the 265/75R16 fit with the 3.5” lift. We will see.
I was planning on replacing the rotors and...
I started this Thread.
First off my Libby is 2wd for now.
And my question was about the transmission handling LT265/75R16 I will be changing my ring and pinion set to 4:10 or 4.56 maybe even 4.88? But it is not going to happen for a few months.
Question: the Liberty 3.7 has plenty of power...
