^ +1 Grab a set of A/T tires that are snowflake rated. They are rated to perform "well" in severe winter weather. Not as good as a winter tire of course but still pretty good. Driving in the snow
It's all about the tires and how you drive. The Liberty is great in the snow. I live in Canada and in the mountains - trust me I know what I am talking about. Do yourself a favor and Subaru up some decent tires for your Jeep.- Red07KJ

What load range are you using?
I run load range C BFG's. A good trade off in my sense for ride vs strength since most of my time is on pavement. Load range E might run a little stiff on pavement/highway for some but it really depends on your usage.- Red07KJ

Hmmm, Duratrac sidewall FAIL!
Epic fail - that's a fair size puncture there... How has your experience been with the MT/R's on pavement/highway Ry? I've heard great for off-road/trail but stear clear (wear issues?) if primary use is on pavement.- Red07KJ
