Working w Perkins Performance on Custom Bumpers
I think that was me. They had the outside all done on the computer, but when it came time to attach it, the guy couldn't figure out how to do it. Pretty sad when I've seen people make decent bumpers for the KK who have light skills welding.- Ted15

I think there is a similar post on lost that I responded to by calling who I think was Perkins. The guy told me that he didn't believe that the KK had enough strenghth and he canned the idea. What to add for a home made tow package?
Does this one have the flat plug or a round one. The reason I ask is if you have to activate and power electric trailer brakes, you'll need the round one and it runs all the way up to the battery with the actuator wire penetrating the firewall on the drivers side. KK or KJ?
If it's the one I'm thinking of, it belongs to a guy in Canada who goes by bobblemoche or something like that. He made both bumpers and sliders himself. If you search lost he has a thread showing all of it and how he did it. Pretty informative even if you have no intention of fabbing then yourself.- Ted15

What to add for a home made tow package?
X2^ Jeep Liberty Trailer Hitch Receiver, Hitch Ball and Wiring Harness. http://www.jeepworld.com/accessories/instructions/82210988AB_hitchreceiver_IFU.pdf The wire harnesses are also listed in one if the links. Which hitch receiver is recommended?
The mopar hitch has a much cleaner apearance than any other one out there in my opinion. The plastic that needs to be cut is a small piece on the bottom about 2"x10" or so. 2011 Cargo tie downs
There's a gut over on lost that mounted a cargo rail on each side and on the back of the rear seats. It's not expensive and can be purchased from Grainger or summit racing. I plan to do the same thing. -

Help with Removal / Installation of KK Grille
Be carefull, I think I broke a tab on my drivers headlight but it was very cold when I took it apart. Gotta check inside there to see. Anyone else have the same problem? It just won't snap back into place no matter how hard I push on it. -

Place to order parts?
Summit racing also has some stuff but I don't think the service will be as good as JBA. If you have the brand and part number they can usually get most things for sale that has to do with cars and trucks. -

Sorry to post on an old thread, hopefully you're still watching it. I have a question about the warranty. Does the reprogrammer void the factory warranty? I've been thinking of doing the same thing after I get a few other mods out of the way.- Ted15

I'm not sure what wire to connect to my trailer brake controller from the brake pedal switch. I found two that supply 12 volts when the pedal is pressed. I chose the one furthest from the firewall but the controller isn't working. I have a couple more things to check but I want to start here...
