The pistons have a ring very close to the top - improves emissions - but any increase in pressure - turbo/supercharger/nitrous will break the edge of the piston above the ring (which will kill your cylinder walls)- ATXKJ

Brake Rotors Done at 16K?
there were also some problems with calipers - I though most of it was rear but I suppose the fronts could also be affected - they weren't releasing properly - normally affects 1 rear wheel and it's noticeable. What psi do you run your tires....
Standard tire pressure check. draw chalk line across tire width - drive about 50-100 feet - look at chalk line - if the center is gone - pressure is too high - if the edges are gone - pressure is too low - correct and retest. It's generally easier to air the tires up fairly high and then...- ATXKJ

I'd still bet on the battery. Understand even if you have the current to turn the starter (should be easier on 2.4l) you may not have the voltage to turn on the computer. and because of that you don't get the more traditional battery failure warnings, once it drops below computer voltage - it...- ATXKJ

Crustys 2.5" lift
The Diesels tend to work better with the OME struts - the gasser folks don't seem to have any problems with Ranchos. So I think the OME valving is better for heavy front ends and stiffer springs.- ATXKJ

New to site..lift kit question for a beginner
Welcome to KJ Country Best factory lift is straight OME. If you want a little taller - the Frankenlift from All-J's adds 1" spacer. I've heard good and bad about Rocky-Road - I haven't dealt with them. OME struts/shocks work better for a Diesel - but the gas folks seem to like Rancho's...- ATXKJ

4x2 vs 4x4. Need Help
As I had mentioned over at LOST - I got to live in Colorado Springs for 3 years - and for the first 2 - I drove a Camaro - and then I got an FJ40 - so I can easily say you don't have to have 4x4 - you can drive in snow with 2wd - just get good tires and be careful.
