FYI - even if you could get MSD -- it's a fix for a problem - if you're not having a problem then the MSD by itself won't help anything. Most of the problem are higher than stock RPM, or compression pressure or NOS.
FYI - the newer Jeeps are different - the battery has to have enough voltage to turn on the computer - enough current to turn the starter isn't enough.
on older cars & Jeeps - if you could get it started, the alternator would have enough to keep it going - not so these days.
The CRD coils have a thicker wire - to get the higher spring rate - length is the same (they'll give some lift just because they don't compress as much)
I used these - for CRD coils (400 lbs/inch) and OME 790's (500lbs/inch)
I ordered them through Advance Auto

As to the original question about mileage - pressure will make a difference, but you should also look at a general tuneup - including running Seafoam though the engine and putting new plugs, air filter and all oil changes.
(general principle used car stuff)
a 225/70 would be an unusual size - stock - they normally come 225/75 and 235/70 so it's smaller than stock - so 1st off your odometer is further off than normal - and it wasn't accurate to begin with. (235/75 would also be unusual)
225/70/16 - 28.5 tall
225/75/16 - 29.4
235/70/16 - 29.1...
The 16's used on the 03-06 will bolt on no problem
(I think the BS is 5? vs a 4.5 on a 7" stock) 4.5" bolt circle
the 17's used on the 07->up will not fit without an adaptor. 5" bolt circle
The one thing you really need to consider is that most tires people want to run (235,245) fit a 7" rim...
original battery? - about time for it to die - and on Jeep's the voltage has to be right to turn on the computer - you can actually crank the engine and not have the computer on and it won't start - or if you Jump it - it won't stay on.
The CRD is probably worst case - the springs are stronger - and they get that way from thicker wire in the coil - so there's a lot less space before you hit metal to metal.
It was never obvious that it was happening - but when I pulled them out to put in the OME and it gained height - and it was...
Hockey pucks are for the rears - they keep the springs from falling out when extended - however I'm not sure they work with the Daystar rear.
What I'm concerned about is the front - I had Daystar for 30k mile and I'm sure I caused the front springs to sag by not having long enough bumpstops -...
Virtually any tire that will fit under a Liberty will be better on a 7" rim than an 8"
- check Tirerack's recommended rim sizes - the 8" are really better for 265 and wider.
not sure about the backspacing - I'm thinking 4"
2 LOST threads for you 245/75 - unlifted

It's not about terms - it's about sales. in Texas they probably sell 5 or 10 2wd Jeeps for every 4wd - if you want 4wd - you have to search for them.
and on 4wd's - it's not unusual to find a 4-5 year old one that's never been put into 4wd. ( that includes used Rubicons - I never understood...
Actually the best discussion of the Japanese auto industry is a book
The Machine that changed the world
http://www.amazon.com/Machine-That-Changed-World-Production/dp/0060974176
it's based on a 5 year MIT study of the auto industry.
and FYI - the 'Consumer Reports' data is a survey - they send...
2 weekend trips of at least 48 hours out of Canada - bring back 1/2 the lift on each trip
you're allowed $400 each trip
1 trip $300 springs 1 rear shock $84
2nd trip $300 struts 2nd rear shock $84
$385 each trip - less if you do Rancho instead of OME
actually you might be able to do one 7 day...
Jeep looks good -- I wish I could have gotten a manual.
also - the tire cover as a warning to tailgaters - presumes that they can or will read, I'm not sure that assumption is warranted.
as to your thread title - I've always assumed 'Jeep' was a name, however in a multiple Jeep household - you...
The photo you have is a offical Jeep accessory Brush guard from 05 - doesn't appear to be on the new websites - you might check Ebay.
Although personally

Actually - the CRD's were designed under the assumption that this would happen.
so dump the tank - change the filter and it'll probably run rough as it clears the residue.
I think MrMopar said they could run on about 20-30% gas
