It was not recalled - there was a Troubleshooting bulletin - if you're under warranty -the TSB will tell them to replace the head. Although - I have extended warranty - the deductible is $100 and it'll take them 2 days to diagnose it, order parts/fix it.
- if you check Mopar Parts America -...

245/75/16's are too tall without a lift
biggest without a lift is 245/70/16 and you might have to do some trimming
depends on how worn your stock springs are
What are they measuring?
a Hz is a cycle per second
they say a 15/16 to 1 is good, but a 13/14 to 2 is bad???
are they inputting a vibration i.e. bouncing the Jeep and measuring how well it's damping?
if so - they are saying the front struts are worn out
but I've never seen that measurement...
on gravel roads the steering in 4wd the steering should be stiffer - a bit harder to turn
but not shuddering, if it's doing that on gravel roads there may be another problem.
I would check bolts and linkages to see if something is loose.
Part time is for driving off road or slippery surfaces only
if you drive Part time on dry roads you will kill the transfer case (as in break into pieces)
dry roads - or anything with good traction is for Full Time 4x4 or 2 wheel drive
no 4 lo, no part time.
so yes it's normal - and it's bad...
You have to take the fill tube apart and dremel out the molded section to open it up
someone over at LOST did it -

she was really good about checking the oil level
she traded it in at 125,000 miles and they were telling her about oil changes
on her new car...........
it was the first time she ever heard you have to change oil.
Howdy - Welcome to KJ Country
beware to the Rusty's and Rocky road versions that are basically spacer on top of the front strut - those have been known to kill the strut in as little as 1 weekend - it causes the strut to bottom out on the strut internals. Extended bumpstops help.
The systems...
The PDF's were on Sir Sam's website and it died - so I don't know anything current.
This was a pretty good writeup on changing a filter (the heater plug is on the right)

Howdy raindog - welcome to KJ Country
If you haven't changed the filter - that's always a good 1st step - it can clog in one tank of bad fuel - but primeing doesn't normally fix that.
the standard air leak is the heater plug on the fuel head - if you pull it out it will probably have diesel on...
The best thing you can do with a Rusty OTT spacer lift - is toss it in the trash before it kills your struts.
if you're just into Mall crawling - you can probably get away with extending the bumpstops - but dead struts only take 1-2 cycles of the suspension - it stops on the internals - they...
