Hoosier, yes the not so premium Infinities. From all the posts of folks wanting to change whole systems it didn't make any sense for me since I have the factory Sirius and GPS built in. Just a note to tell you I had very good success with the www.simplyspeakers.com kit to rebuild the front door speakers on my 05. The sound is every bit as good as the day I first played the radio in Feb. 05' I was more apprehensive about panel removal than redoing the surrounds.- Rickshaw

New 7 V Glow Plug Close At Hand
I don't think your part number could get crossed up from my perspective there is only one glow plug for that CRD no matter if it is U.S. or Foreign. I registered and studied their site but have not yet ordered. Post the outcome!- Rickshaw

hard to start
If your motor is the CRD then you have an electrical plug on the drivers side of the motor under the cowling. It will look like any electrical plug and you plug it into an electrical socket using an extension cord of course. For the states it's a 110-120v. w/ ground. I can't say for sure what...- Rickshaw

Inferior engine I don't think V.M. qualifies as an inferior engine. They have a long and reputible history of some of the most proficient engines the world has ever seen. how to replace egr valve on a 2.8 crd 05?
I pulled mine out and glass bead blasted it and put it back in. The check Eng. light stayed on just for a while then went off, good to go!Didn't pull all that stuff off just my fuel filter but that was easy since I use Colder quick couplers and no leaking what so ever. Alan- Rickshaw
