hooray!... picked liberty up tuesday and looks like it was the new valve body acting up. no issues with its replacement. hit 14.8 mpg today and rising!
the regret is coming from is the whole valve body thing. i just sent it back for replacement or repairs. going to be at least 2 more weeks before i get my liberty back.
rebuild was either 12 or 13 hours so about $1200 for labor.
what did they say was wrong with it? my is turning into a headache and i now wish i just went with the reman.
$2900 for rebuild id say get a reman which should be anywhere from $2800 to $3500 depending on brand, who is installing it, and warranty.
$2400 for a used seems too high. i paid i...

jasper: standard 3 year or 100,000 miles
update... its still at the shop. been waiting 2 weeks for cascade transmission to get back to me (place i ordered, not shop). lack of customer service is disturbing. i get people can be busy but ignore me for 2 weeks? nope... so i went to sonnax directly. no record of this guy contacting them...

the dual...
the sonnax guy was very helpful and listened to my tranny drama. based on his experience these types of codes can be linked to the pump size....hehe... he mentioned that up to a certain year they had a high volume pump but then offered a smaller low volume pump for better fuel efficiency. i...
