When I had to change the bulbs in the heater control the old bulbs had a blue cover on them and the new had a green cover. After changing I noticed the heater control lights up white and no longer has the green tint the rest of the dash does. I was wondering if the instrument cluster bulbs were...
Installed the fog lights since I had it torn apart replacing the radiator. While doing that I cut out the flexible section of trans hose that was leaking and did the twobobs cooling system including adding on the HD Cooling fans. Replaced the brake hardware up front to get the left caliper to...
Loving the snow but did nothing to my Jeep today other than to drive it to work then to take my daughter to look at a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Special Edition. She bought it and is tickled pink. So now I have 3 Jeeps to maintain.
This Grand needs brakes, the O2 sensors fixed (Codes P0031,P0051...
Yep I am doing the HD cooling setup. I pieced together the parts from here and there and this past weekend the radiator started leaking so that gave me an excuse to buy the radiator I needed. I followed what you did on your post. Thanks for sharing that.
Two questions- what size thread are...
Changed the oil yesterday and took to get new tires. Had brand new Cooper Discoverer RTX's put on it, 245/75/16.
Today I ordered the radiator since the one I put in last year is leaking in the same place the original did. Hope it comes in before the weekend to I can install it when I have the...
Wow been a while since I have been here. Things have been crazy with work and going to school. Lets see what have I done lately to the Jeep. I pieced together the HD Cooling parts and when I went to install them saw that the replacement radiator I put in last year is leaking. So guess that is...
Its been awhile since I have been on here. School started back up for me and work has had me traveling. Lets see, rebuilt both ends of the front drive shaft, ordered the transfer case position sensor, mileage is up to 160542. I think that's all for today
Thanks CzarKJ and Leeann....I think if I do this then I will get the parts and replace both ends of the driveshaft at the same time. Better safe than sorry and the thing will be out anyway.
TwoBobs this might be a dumb question but what type/size hosing did you use for the trans lines? I need to replace the leaking flexible sections in my stock lines.
Turned 159200 miles on the Jeep today and in celebration the rear cv joint went to crap. Nice quiet Jeep then clunk clunk clunk clunk bang clunk then quiet again then back to noise. I limped it home. I guess I know what I am doing tomorrow rather than going to work. A little warning would have...
Got a good laugh. My daughter drove it over to the neighbors to pick something up and they said so your dad let you drive the beast. I fell on the floor laughing my KJ is soo not a beast.
