    I replaced mine with a a new Cardone pump, which seems like it's decent quality. Metal impeller. $60 at the local parts place.

    With that many miles and problems... sell it for scrap. Buy something functional. Take prev. owner to small-claims court... Or fix it all yourself if you're able. Not worth paying someone for all that work.

    Front shock & spring replacement - DIY?

    I did this job on mine a couple weeks ago. I just unbolted the clevis and was able to finesse the strut out without much trouble. Didn't find it necessary to pop the ball joint. You might want to do the rears too, mine were pretty sagged.

    Age seems to be taking it's toll on my Lib. Just replaced a leaking valve cover and now noticed one side of the rear axle is starting to leak a tiny bit... Looking at the factory manual this repair looks fairly straight forward, however other than changing the gear oil I've never worked on...

    Your upper ball joint is toast.

    Check the lower rad hose connections and the thermostat housing. Also have a good look at the brake hose and bleeder screw, if possible have someone give a good push on the pedal while your watching.
