Disabling the airbag system
Hi I have a bumper from ATH and it's fantastic. Morgan does great work, but it takes a long time as he's really busy. The factory bumper is no good for pushing. Its design to crumple and crunch up and absorb energy in the event of a collision etc.- KKinTexas

This is what the top of the housing looked like on ours. You can see the adhesive or rubber pieces have become soft and sticky which is what causes the doors to become stuck or jammed Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk- KKinTexas

Here is a pic of my box looking at the top dampers. You can see the dissolved rubber seal that gummed up the damper to get jammed. Not sure what causes this, but it also sticks to the other damper if it does move. Mine was stuck so only heat came out of defroster not on your feet. Also, the...- KKinTexas

You need to replace your whole distribution box. I just did this repair on my daughter's 2010 kk. The actuators work fine, but no heat. That box has 4 movable dampers.
