    Need help finding lift kit!!

most people i've talked to prefer the 948 rear coils , ride wise they're no harsher than the jba25's they tend to last longer though

2003 Jeep 2.8 CRD wont start

    1. if you dont get over 1000psi fuel pressure the ECU will not pulse the injectors 2. ECU looks for signals from crank position and cam position before pulsing, no signal , no pulse have you tested cam position sensor/plug?

    Jeep Wave?

if you're not getting waves , and pay attention to on coming traffic and the one's who you'd expect to wave are drifting towards the center line, they aren't waving because they're too busy staring - i get passlane highbeams from time to time in wilmington or obx , i'll take that over a dude...

    Tire Pressure Tools

ive ran one of those 40 dollar slime pumps its either a 5000 or 7000 series, for about 7 years, i cut the power port plug off and put clips on it cause it draws at or above 15A which imo is too much for the kj's power ports, im actually quite surprised it(the pump) hasnt caught fire or...

    Need help finding lift kit!!

i ran the jba25's for about 90kmi with a steel rear bumper and several 100lbs of cargo in the back, for the first 30-45kmi they were great, loved it, after that with the weight i run, they sagged slowly and got squishy at 90k they were netting about 1.75" of lift, they're a little bit lighter...

    Smokin

for the first oil change youll probably average 12-14, and it's mpgs all things considered will probably normalize between 15k and 20kmi. it'll take a few hot cold cycles for the o2's to get back with the program and 300-500 for the overall learning cycle to complete for engine management -...

    instrument panel swap

55, 70, 90, 105, 115kph it's not that bad :P tbh, for the cost of doing all that, i'd probably superglue a 50 dollar garmin to the dash and leave it on the speedo function and permanently wire it in

    Losing coolant (KJ,liberty)

no not really, when they're at proper temp they build between 12-16 psi under the cap - so when removed while still under pressure they'll hiss, bubble, boil (due to loss of atmospheric prevention to boiling) spew, spray and all sorts of potentially hand damaging behaviors, i tend to prefer to...

    Need help finding lift kit!!

at a 300 budget, the best i can say is save your money, do a top plate + clevis lift in the front, and an inch or so of home made 1" spacer under the rear isolators. it'll net you about an inch of lift. or at the worst, get you back to a stock height depending on how much your suspension has...

    Inside Frame rust prevention

major issue with foaming is if water does get into it from a leaking 3rd brake light, roof wiring loom, rack mount etc, and it will, it has no where to go or drain to, creating additional drain points have successfully prevented more rot out than all of the internal coatings combined, not that...

    instrument panel swap

odometer has to be calibrated to the reflected miles the ECM has otherwise the vehicle will shut down. a dealership can change the country code on the ecm from CAN to US in order to switch the system from using kilometers to miles , both steps necessary to switch over to a new US standard unit...

    Tire Truing?

have one beside the shop lol. it's how we grind down tractor tires for the pulling classes that dont allow hand cut tires. at least with car/truck tires the process doesn't take the entire day.

    Dana 30 SFA/IFS gear compatibility

that's 790s with a top plate and clevis lift and 235-85R16s i pulled from a dualie while waiting for the tires i actually wanted to put on to be released to the market put a good engine skid on it and there's nothin to worry about

    Tire Truing?

may be due to sleep deprivation but the only suggestion i have involves a concrete pad, a chain, a tree a water hose and removing the front driveshaft and putting in 4 low, depending on just how bad they're cupped but at the same time i feel i shouldnt encourage such behavior

JBA Stock UCA vs Lifted UCA

borincano , are you able to clean the boot well and verify that it isn't torn or damaged? there is a small relief in bottom flat part of the boot to let excess grease out, if that's the hole, it's normal myself, i used 2 wire grommets as a spacer, theyre rubber rings like what you'd use to...

JBA Stock UCA vs Lifted UCA

the "washers" only purpose in life is to keep the boot from falling off i got my uca's before they started sending the washers, and eventually put "wiring gromets" on to keep the boot pushed up
