Just about 70,500. I got the 06 last july/august with 64K so since I don't drive to far the mileage should slowly level back down to the average miles per year.
Ordered! I got the tensioner for $54 after 3 day shipping from rockauto.com and ended up getting the belt off amazon for $28 with free two day shipping, since rockauto didn't have a belt in stock at my closest location and wanted an additional $7 to ship from another spot.
I will snap some pics when it gets here and during install!
Thats what im hoping for, as it started getting a little colder here I could hear it at start up so I figured it was time!
Just that and possibly new brakes up front and oil change, and I will be ready for winter!
Yeah learned that the hard way...
I forgot to check my blinker fluid and my engine fell out driving down the highway.
Luckily I keep a spare in the trunk.
Remember kids don't be stupid, check your fluid!
(yeah I know doesn't rhyme that great.. )
I gotta go with NAPA rotors also but I think I only got there middle of the line pads (which are still very good) I put them on my rear recently and will be getting them for the fronts before winter comes, as soon as my belt and tensioner get done!
Just wondering about the PMs
I sent a PM and noticed it did not show up on my sent list..
It confused me and makes me wonder if it actually sent.
Any word on this?
Thanks!
Are these the ones with the chrome skins over them or actual chrome lugs?
If actual chrome ones I will take a set, as a few covers have came off my last one and I don't want to deal with those anymore..
Thanks for link and it is the Tensioner/Idler complete assembly that I was looking at, sorry should of been more clear!
Looks like I will be ordering the Dayco tensioner/idler assembly and the Gate Micro V belt, although it does not say if its an EPDM belt or not...
Gates part # K060863?
I think I'm due for a new tensioner and belt for my 06 since I just hit 70k, whats the best brand that I should be going for or does it not matter too much?
I found:
Factory $80
Dayco $60ish?
And what brand belt should I be looking for?
I was just checking Rockauto and can get the Dayco...
Small update, got the CV joint done and front driveshaft back in, rear diff started leaking so the pinion seal was replaced.
Trailer hitch wiring was installed.
2 more lights up on the roof rack were installed.
Also got a fire extinguisher that came mounted in my dads truck that he didn't...
It looks like a rear pinion seal..
I had the same looking issues near the rear diff, and just kept an eye on the fluid level until one day it was real bad and knew it was time to get it done. Ended up costing $110 at the Jeep dealership and was done in 2-3 hours, as I didn't know of any...
Seems like a decent deal, although I would be nervous of getting a car without driving it first...
Although with an 02 your prelowered, (which won't really matter now that its sagging after the mileage) and it will have the 45RFE tranny and should a stock front skid!
What options does it have?
Just seeing if anyone had a front/engine skid for my 06 for sale or knew where the best place was to order one from, before I go out and get one.
Thanks!
