Mine is the 3.7 but two wheel, so gotta be the NV 3550 yeah? If so, easy to find adaptor from the wrangler. This new parts liberty is a treasure trove of parts for me- it has the manual windows and seats!

That is what is supposed to be in these things when manual. I just picked up a 2whl drive parts vehicle, with a 5 speed. Soon as my shop is done, plan on putting my 2002 KJ sport 4x4 with a blown motor back on the...
The ebrake hookups look different- what about proportioning valve? It looks like the 2005 has some sort of speed sensor and ABS hookup, you are saying you don't need this?
It's been since last march on this subject, hope you see it. I have a 2006 disc brake liberty and the bearings are great etc. The 2002 Drum liberty is toast- the axles look bad from bearing wear. How complicated is the brakes to switch from 2006 to 2002 ? It seems to be the only difference in...
Shoots, the disc brake jeep is a 2005. and the ABS layout looks completely different than the drum 2002. Gonna have to fix my rear end instead I think.
Looks like my rear end on my 2 wheel drive 2002 liberty needs a few things, and the amount in work and in parts it needs would be cheaper, and easier, I think, to swap in my 2002 4 wheel drive rear end with disck brakes, instead of doing on the work on the drum brake rear end.
My first thought...
Wow, thanks for this, I was about to ask about such things. I have totally stock suspension, though about to be brand new struts and shocks all the way around. I have 225/75r/16s cooper discoveries on it now, but am going to buy all new tires soon for stock rims. This is good information. I have...
I live on a really bumpy lava rock road- 2.5 miles one way. The suspension on my 2002 3.7 2wd liberty is really, really showing it's age, bottoming out on potholes etc. Got 161k miles on it, great vehicle, but again, the suspension is showing it's age. Thinking of doing the medium duty 1.5 lift...
I see some threads kinda bounce around this issue. I went out to start my liberty- nada to the starter. So after a quick test of the starter, started into the ignition issue. Looks like the piece the key tumbler/cylinder attaches too is bust up. Worn out. I have a parts Liberty, so I am trying...
That makes sense , I live in a rain forest jungle LOL. I also have some rust up by the third light that may be leaking into that area? I can't feel any dampness there, but could be.
Tried to check the other threads, it seems like my problem is a bit unique from the other threads- my latch mechanism moves easily, not rusty or stuck, but the window won't stay shut, it won't stay closed. I saw on another thread there is a wire issue, would it make it stick open?
