Yes those are the stock brackets. I never heard of an issue though. I pulled a fully loaded electrician’s extended van out of the ditch in a snow storm… plenty strong. :)

It may be silly to ask … but sometimes we forget the little tricks. You tightened the lca bolts under load right?

That’s just a light dusting ;) I lived in Vancouver for 3 yrs in the early 90’s. We had one storm with maaaybe an inch of accumulation… coincidentally the city had just sold the bulk of its snow removal equipment to somewhere in Washington State. All hell broke loose. Car accidents everywhere...

Right? … and that was planned work! Even with a good snowsuit that looks painful. :D Great idea reviving the contest Prof … sadly this is all I have left of her… *sniffles* ;)
