Still going strong 10k miles in. I am going to add some conduit nuts to space the clevis 3/4 inch and add an extra top spring isolator in the rear. Should give me a total of about 3 inches of lift and room to use 235/85R16 tires.
So now i got some new shoes on the pig. Changes the whole look of the vehicle. Got these on a bargain deal. Couldn't use the wheels from the deal, so they'll be up for sale shortly.
I scored these Ko2's on American Racing wheels for $650. They have less than 500 miles on them.
Before and after.
Reviving an old post....
What I'm gathering here is that 245/70R16 tires will fit stock wheels on any KJ... depending on if it's lifted or sagged or what have you.
Mine is lifted. Just bought that exact size tire and am planning on mounting them on my stock '06 Renegade wheels.
My experience with their customer service was absolutely horrible.
They led me onto believe that they had the parts in stock and ready to go.... which they did not. Took almost 6 months to get here and they even forgot the bump stops i ordered and the covers for the shock piston. They didnt...
They got the toe corrected perfect and the camber is out one half a degree, but the springs still need time and to be driven to settle. I didn't get a print out sheet. Maybe i can still go back and ssk them
Well, I got the RRO kit installed. I'm a first timer for doing any heavy automotive work. I think I did fairly well, considering.
Took me ~2 hours on Saturday morning to finish the rear axle. Then the work really began. I decided to start with the driver side and get that outta the way.
