What did you do to your jeep today?

I tried a 4 way lug wrench first, but it wasn't long enough. It was the only other thing I had available to me. I didn't even have to break out soap or lithium grease.

What did you do to your jeep today?

That was such a pain in the ass for me because I stupidly removed the whole socket and couldn't get my fat fingers in to to push it back in. I eventually pushed a skewer in the socket and pulled it through the top.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Did the bump stops after I realized my front drivers side one was missing. Since I'm not lifted, I went with Crown over the Teraflex. Popped right in with my Fiskers Folding Entrenching shovel and then I drove it through a few bad parking lots to make sure they were tight.

Is fan speed '1' meant to spin the blower motor?

Isn't that what the off feature is? I would think that with a 0 setting would be redundant.

2003 Renegade stock bump stop replacement

I ordered the crown, because I don't have a lift and the Teraflex say they are longer for a lifted Jeep.

2003 Renegade stock bump stop replacement

Front. Are the Crowns good as the originals?

2003 Renegade stock bump stop replacement

Ok, I guess what I mean to say is: I can get the mopar ones for $115 each, or is there a cheaper aftermarket option that is just as good?

    2006 LIBERTY

Should be right next to the alternator where the upper radiator hose comes in. Not sure what size bit you will need for it.

2003 Renegade stock bump stop replacement

I was driving to the farm yesterday and while taking the backroad in I went over a rise and when I hit the other side a huge bang came out of my driver side. I checked both wheel wells and realized my bump stop was missing on my drivers side. Since I'm not raised what is the proper bump stop...

What do I need to remove the rock rails/running boards?

Do the bolts just go right back into the holes?

What do I need to remove the rock rails/running boards?

The tubes on my Jeep are really starting to rust and I want to get rid of them. I'm gonna ask my mechanic to remove them next time her has it up on the lift, but I'm wondering if anything needs to be done once removed, to prevent rust or rot.

    Factory Lightbar

I have the old one from my Libby, if you'd need it. I found someone on Facebook who had an intact one and bought it.

Now see, when I had mine replaced, the light came on and stayed on. Luckily the Stealership claimed it was on when I pulled in, despite having a video of the dashboard from a few days earlier showing it not on. They also couldn't identify what is causing the light to come on with their computer.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Replaced a burned out headlight after being reminded that it was out by some nice gentlemen with blue and red lights on their car.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Was a tennants horse. I did like the horse(he'd been abused when he was younger, so he was very shy, but I tried my darndest to be his friend. But if you even raised your voice to yell to someone down the barn, he would flinch and shy away), but he was 25+ years old. But yeah, I pulled up...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Used her to drag a euthanized horse through a paddock to the paddock gate so the meat wagon could take him away.

    Fog Light Options (2005-2007)

There's a write up here somewhere that tells you how to modify a higher wattage bulb to fit into the fog light socket by removing part of the bulb collar: https://www.jeepkj.com/threads/fog-light-mod-to-65-watt-upgrade-02-04.58960/

    Rear Window Striker

The Loctite epoxy is still holding on mine, though you can see the edges starting to come lose. The bottles are almost a decade old, so fresher ones may hold better. I used a clamp from Harbor Freight: https://www.harborfreight.com/12-in-ratcheting-bar-clampspreader-62123.html to hold it to...

What did you do to your jeep today?

I tend to drive them till they become racing slicks. The tires on my Dodge would sometimes go past the steel belting: That was my front driver tire, which always ate tires ever since I fell asleep behind the wheel and hit a curb. As it was, the tires on her were from when I bought her...
