We’re getting the MN boundary waters smoke. We’re in Duluth for my wife’s birthday. I paid extra for a room overlooking Lake Superior. Here’s the view. There’s a whole harbor and another section of town down there. On the jeep front, I put gas in it yesterday.- CherokeeLiberty

There is definitely a snap ring under there. If you put a puller on it and crank it without removing said snap ring, you will destroy the compressor. Ask me how I know…- CherokeeLiberty

Here’s the new look. At 262k miles, this will likely be the last set of tires for this pig. Multi-Mile Wild Country XTX in a 235/70R16. A little different than the 245/75’s I have had up until now.- CherokeeLiberty

New shoes, today. These were on my wife’s car for a month before she hit a deer and totaled the car. Thanks, she was pretty torn up about it. It was her first big-girl purchase, and she’s had it longer than me :D- CherokeeLiberty

All my tools are loaded up in my jeep. They fill up the trunk completely! Thankfully, my new company has a truck picked out for me, already. I’m just waiting on it to get out of the shop. In the meantime, I’m getting by with the older shop trucks.- CherokeeLiberty

I drove it for the first time in a few weeks. I also put fresh gas in it. The last fill was 4/20 at $3.609/gal and today was $4.159/gal. It felt good to take it out.- CherokeeLiberty

I tried putting new tires on today, but it turns out Mercury Mariner/Ford Escape wheels have a smaller bore than is needed on the Liberties. So, I’ll have to arrange a swap at a shop after all. These are the tires that we had just put on my wife’s car before she totaled it this winter.- CherokeeLiberty

It’s going to get fresh gas to ight on my way home from work. I have some cedar planters in it I made, so the jeep smells fabulous. If it keeps looking at me the way it does, I’m gonna cut the muffler out and act like I’m back in high school…- CherokeeLiberty
