No, I got under the Jeep and took off the old rear transmission mount cross member. And put on the new one. I used the old fasteners, except for the nuts onto the transmission mount. But, I want to first decide if I should get a new rear transmission mount (assembly as it appears to be two parts). Sometimes rebuild kit is available. Not always today. The big thing is, it may need new brushes. They may be worn down too short. I got a kit for a Honda motorcycle that I had and my neighbor rebuilt the starter. Worked like new. There is a small company around here that may rebuild them...- David13

Jeep is acting very strange?
Test fuel pressure. Could be fuel pump malfunction. Could also be dirty, contaminated gas. Dirty gas tank. Then, after that, get more complicated. dc Could be a kinked fuel hose.- David13

Hard Start after sitting a bit/Occasional fuel smell/ Odd sound when shut off
If you smell fuel, you have a fuel leak. The fuel system is a closed, sealed pressure system. You shouldn't smell fuel. Then, due to the leak, when you shut it off (shut car and fuel pump off) fuel pressure drops down and when you go to start, fuel pump has to pump up some pressure to get it...- David13

Programming Remote Door Lock Keys
I had found online some that purported to be oem, and official and real. The price was like $59 or more as opposed to the cheap knock offs which were $14.95 etc. I'll follow here to see what you get. I have the same issue. Only one key and it doesn't unlock the door lock with the cut key...- David13

Painting my grill?
I don't think paint will stick to chrome much. So you'll have to buff or grind it. Have you searched for replacement grills? Did some of the other models have a non chrome grill. If so, junkyard for one of the others, which would be cheap and just bolt in the same way. Also, after market...- David13

Junkyard. That way you just get what you need, with all the extra parts and fasteners, etc., and any other miscellaneous parts you might need, screws, clips, springs, etc., but not a bunch of other stuff and broken stuff that you don't need that sits in your yard for the next 50 years.
