2003 jeep liberty 45rfe transmission TCM swap to a 545rfe???
The 45 and 545 are the same physical transmission. Even the 65RFE is essentially the same trans but if memory serves they changed the connector (don't quote me). Transmission Filter For 45RFE
All RFE's use two filters, one suction and one return. Factory started doing that a long time ago; RTV is cheaper than a gasket.- 04Liberty

They weren't factory installed, you had to buy the parts and install it. You didn't mention what year you have but this is the kit from the 2005 (earliest available) parts book.- 04Liberty

The second little widget, small and square-ish, like so? If so, then your vehicle has the Mopar add-on remote start kit. I installed one of these on a 2006 Charger. Push the button twice and see what happens.- 04Liberty
